Do a Good Turn Daily

A Scout is Helpful. At least that is what the Scout Law tells us. In addition, a Scout does his duty to help other people at all times.

On November 8, 2001, Boy Scout Troop 107 helped at the Second Harvest Food Bank. There were six scouts and five parents there to help sort food.  We all had a lot of fun and at the same time, we were helping other people.  All of us working together processed about 3,000 pounds of food.  We all pitched in and in the two hours we were there, we accomplished 200 person-hours of community service.  The Scouts that helped were David, Chris, Jared, James, Brad, and Eric.

[Editors note]: David helped to organize the Scout Troop in completing this community service project.
